When character is lost, everything is lost

Several years back, at the annual conference of the Institute of Management Consultants of India, in Hyderabad, the keynote speaker included in his message the following:

“ When we were young, our elders taught us:

• When money is lost, nothing is lost.
• When health is lost, something is lost.
• When character is lost, everything is lost.

Unfortunately, we live in a world where:

• When character is lost, nothing is lost.
• When health is lost, something is lost.
• When money is lost, everything is lost.”
